Ana Girardot is a French actress, the daughter of actors, who rose to prominence in film and television beginning in 2010. Trained in acting with studies in New York, she won attention from audiences and critics for the lead role in Fabrice Gobert’s Simon Werner a disparu…, presented at Cannes. From there she built a versatile career, moving between French auteur projects and international productions, such as Paradise Lost, opposite Benicio del Toro.
On television, she was a regular cast member of the series Les Revenants, whose international success broadened her visibility. In cinema she has appeared in notable films such as Cloclo, Radiostars, Un homme idéal and two films by Cédric Klapisch, Ce qui nous lie and Deux moi, showing an affinity for dramatic, contemporary roles. Her filmography includes both leading and supporting parts in works recognized by critics.
In addition to her work as an actress, she co-founded the Nouvelles Vagues film festival in Biarritz in 2023 and has acted as master of ceremonies, signaling involvement in the cultural and curatorial circuit. Her career is marked by sustained presence in contemporary French cinema and a successful transition between television and film.
