Beverly Elaine Aadland was an American actress who appeared in episodic roles during the 1950s and is best remembered for her association with actor Errol Flynn. She began with small, often uncredited parts and took part in productions such as Pacific Sea (1958) and Cuban Rebel Girls (1959), as well as guest appearances on contemporary television programs. Her public notoriety stemmed from her relationship with Flynn, who died in 1959 while Aadland was still young; the episode attracted wide media and literary attention when her mother, Florence Aadland, recounted details in the book The Big Love. Those memoirs and accounts later inspired stage and film adaptations, keeping the episode alive in popular culture. Throughout her life, Aadland revisited this period in interviews and memoir pieces, reiterating elements of her version of events. She died in 2010 at age 67 from complications related to diabetes and congestive heart failure. Her legacy remains tied both to her brief work as an actress and to the controversy that marked her youth.
