Gustavo Kuerten, known as Guga, is a former Brazilian professional tennis player.
He is considered the greatest tennis player in Brazilian history.
He is the only tennis player in history to defeat Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi in the same tournament.
He, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are the only three non-North American players to reach the final at least once in each of the four ATP Masters Series events played in the Americas (Indian Wells; Miami; Montreal/Toronto; and Cincinnati).
