Hak Ja Han is a Korean religious leader known for her central role in the organizations she and the late Sun Myung Moon founded. Co‑founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (commonly called the Unification Church) and the Women’s Federation for World Peace, she held presidential positions for many years and led global campaigns for peace and family unity.
Her career includes promoting large‑scale public initiatives such as the “Peace Begins With Me” rallies and the Hope Rallies, in‑person and virtual events that brought together international leaders to debate issues like pandemic response, poverty, religious freedom and security. Those gatherings attracted prominent political and diplomatic figures and raised the profile of the transnational cooperation proposals advocated by her organizations.
Hak Ja Han has also been involved in cultural and educational projects, such as the Little Angels children’s dance troupe, and has participated in ceremonies and awards organized by the Universal Peace Federation. Her public work combines religious leadership, social mobilization and the promotion of interethnic and intercultural ties.
