Julia Bradbury is an English journalist and television presenter, best known for walking and outdoor programmes broadcast on the BBC and ITV. She became a public figure as co-presenter of Countryfile from 2004 to 2014 and through themed series such as Wainwright Walks and Coast to Coast, as well as numerous productions showcasing trails and landscapes in the United Kingdom, Germany, Iceland, South Africa and Greece.
Over the course of her career she has also worked on consumer and investigative programmes such as Watchdog, and on natural history and cultural features including Planet Earth Live and The Great British Countryside. For commercial broadcasters she presented titles like The Wonder of Britain, Best Walks with a View and Britain's Best Walks, in addition to travel and lifestyle shows.
Alongside her television work, Bradbury launched the platform The Outdoor Guide, which in 2021 led to The Outdoor Guide Foundation, an initiative aimed at widening children’s access to outdoor activities. Her career blends service journalism, environmental outreach and the promotion of walking tourism, establishing her as a leading figure in walking and nature programming on British television.
