Meg Tilly is an actress and writer with a transnational career, notable for her work in film, television, and young-adult literature. She won a Golden Globe and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Agnes of God (1985), a role that established her critical reputation; she also appeared in notable films such as The Big Chill (1983), Psycho II (1983), and Valmont (1989). On television, she had a prominent role in Bomb Girls (2012–13), for which she won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress in a Drama.
