Lesley Lawson (London, 19 September 1949) is a British model, actress and singer. Considered one of the world's first supermodels, her almost androgynous image, extremely thin, petite, with very short blonde hair and huge eyes enhanced with layers of mascara and false eyelashes, made her a fashion and style icon of the 1960s.
In 1971, in film, she won the Golden Globe for her debut film, The Boy Friend; she worked in theatre, and on TV she hosted her own talk show, Twiggy's People. A major figure in British culture to this day.
