Zíbia Alencastro Gasparetto is a Brazilian spiritualist writer who became known as a medium.

Zíbia says that, in 1950, already the mother of two children, she awoke one night with a tingling sensation in her body.

She then reportedly got up and began walking through the house as a man, speaking in German, a language she did not know.

The next day, Aldo Luiz went to a bookstore, where he purchased O Livro dos Espíritos. Together, they reportedly began to study the Spiritist Doctrine.
