Principles

The Lunar Nodes mark the intersection between the Moon path and the ecliptic. They are connected with eclipses, collective tides and karmic or developmental direction.

Qualities

They help describe attraction toward experience, repetitive patterns, growth direction and the relationship between past conditioning and future development.

Challenges

When read mechanically, the Nodes can become fatalistic. They work better as symbolic indicators of movement, imbalance and integration.

Correspondence

The North Node and South Node are always opposite one another.

In chart interpretation, the Nodes are auxiliary points. They should be read together with the whole chart, not in isolation.
