Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers is an American actress and singer, and an Oscar winner for Best Actress. She began her career as a child and appeared in films such as Don Jon and Anjos da Lei, but it was in 2013, with her performance in Short Term 12, that she achieved critical success.
Larson's breakthrough came with a leading role in the acclaimed independent drama Short Term 12 (2013), and she went on to take supporting roles in the romance The Spectacular Now (2013) and the comedy Trainwreck (2015). The 2017 adventure film Kong: Skull Island marked her first big-budget release, after which she starred as Carol Danvers in Marvel's 2019 superhero films Capitã Marvel and Vingadores: Ultimato.
In 2015, her performance in the film O quarto de Jack earned her the Oscar for Best Actress.
