Paul Bruce Dickinson is an English musician best known for his work as the vocalist of the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden since 1981. During his first stint with the band, several successful albums were released, resulting in Bruce's worldwide fame and making him one of the most acclaimed vocalists in the heavy metal genre.

Bruce left Iron Maiden in 1993 to pursue a solo career, in which he experimented with various styles of rock; and returned to the band in 1999. In 2006, Bruce Dickinson was included in the list of the 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalists of All Time compiled by the American magazine Hit Parader, ranking 7th. He was also included in the list of the 10 Best Heavy Metal Vocalists by the site The Top Tens, ranking 1st. Additionally, he placed 2nd on Loudwire's "50 Best Rock and Metal Singers" list.

Outside his music career, Dickinson is well known for the wide variety of activities he undertakes. Most notably, he pursued a career as a commercial pilot for Astraeus Airlines, which led to a series of media-covered ventures, such as piloting Iron Maiden's plane, Ed Force One, during their world tours. After Astraeus closed, he founded his own aircraft maintenance and pilot training company in 2012, Cardiff Aviation. Dickinson hosted his own radio show on BBC Radio 6 Music from 2002 to 2010, appeared in television documentaries, wrote novels and film screenplays, created a successful beer with Robinsons Brewery, and competed in fencing internationally.
