Célestin Buisson appears in the context of the notorious Henri Désiré Landru case as one of the victims linked to the frauds and murders attributed to the so‑called "Bluebeard." Records indicate that his death was part of the series of disappearances and suspicions that led to Landru's arrest, whose trial became a public spectacle in post–World War I France.
