Moulay Hassan is the Crown Prince of Morocco and a central figure of the Alaouite dynasty. The eldest son of King Mohammed VI, he has been prepared for succession since childhood, taking part in official events and accompanying the royal family's institutional activities. His education includes studies in economic and social sciences and international relations, completed in 2020. As the young representative of the Crown, Hassan has made diplomatic and ceremonial appearances since 2014, participating in state visits, international summits and receptions for heads of state and members of royal households. These activities are part of a gradual process of taking on the public and protocol duties that will fall to the monarch. The prince’s personal life is kept private, in line with Moroccan monarchical tradition; information about relationships and his private sphere is scarce and handled cautiously by the press. Named in honor of his grandfather, Hassan II, his future role is watched both within the kingdom and in the country’s foreign relations.
