Davide Dileo, known professionally as Boosta, is an Italian musician, composer and presenter whose career was established at the intersection of classical piano and electronic music. A co‑founder and keyboardist of the alternative group Subsonica, he helped establish the band as one of the most influential acts on the Italian underground scene of the late 1990s, contributing to multiple albums, platinum records and national and international awards. Trained at the Turin conservatory, Dileo is noted for his piano virtuosity and for his innovative use of technology in composition, moving through genres from post‑rock to minimal and ambient music. In addition to his work with the band, he has developed a solo career with projects such as Post Piano Sessions, six instrumental EPs that explore piano variations integrated with electronics. As a composer and collaborator, he has written songs for established artists and worked with international names, broadening his creative reach. He also works as a cultural curator, having created an exhibition space in Turin that integrates music, art and digital collecting. His social activity includes support for charitable initiatives and mentoring emerging artists, solidifying a legacy of musical innovation and community engagement.
