Emerson Fittipaldi is a former Brazilian racing driver.
He is one of the most successful Brazilian racing drivers in history, and was the first Brazilian to become a world champion in Formula One and in top categories of international motorsport, opening doors for many compatriots.
Fittipaldi was a two-time Formula One champion in 1972 and 1974, CART (IndyCar) champion in 1989, and a two-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 in 1989 and 1993.
