Félix Díaz Prieto (1868–1945) was a Mexican military officer and politician, a member of the Díaz family and nephew of President Porfirio Díaz. Trained at the Colegio Militar as an engineer, he served on the Presidential General Staff and held public offices such as deputy, chief of police of Mexico City and, briefly, governor of Oaxaca. He reached the rank of brigadier general and served diplomatically as consul in Chile.

With the fall of the Porfirian order, he became an open opponent of Francisco I. Madero. He led armed uprisings — including the October 1912 rebellion in Veracruz — and was arrested, convicted and later benefited from a commutation of his sentence. In February 1913 he took part in the coup that brought the rebel forces to power, signing days later the so‑called Embassy Pact with Victoriano Huerta, an agreement that did not secure for him the role that had been promised.

After periods of exile and further military attempts against revolutionary governments, Félix Díaz led between 1917 and 1920 a counterrevolutionary movement known as the felicistas, organized around the Plan of Tierra Colorada. Although he retained symbolic presence and some prestige in certain sectors, his forces operated mainly as guerrillas and failed to regain a lasting political position. He lived in exile until 1941 and died in Veracruz in 1945.
