Gabriella Papadakis is a former French ice dancer of Greek descent, internationally known for her partnership with Guillaume Cizeron. Together they dominated the competitive scene for more than a decade: Olympic champions in 2022, silver medalists in 2018, five-time World champions and five-time consecutive European champions. On the Grand Prix circuit they won ten gold medals and claimed the Final title in 2017 and 2019, in addition to seven national titles in France. The pair became famous for the lyrical style and musicality of their programs, drawing on modern dance and ballet, and were frequently praised for their technical quality and fluid movement. Under the ISU scoring system they set and broke numerous world records, becoming a benchmark for technical and artistic advancement in ice dance. Trained in Clermont-Ferrand, Papadakis began skating with Cizeron as a child and, after changes in their coaching team, consolidated her career training in Montréal with a prominent coaching staff. Her legacy includes redefining scoring limits and a lasting influence on the aesthetics and interpretation of contemporary ice dance.
