Geoffrey Roy Rush is an award-winning Australian actor.
He is also known for appearing in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" quadrilogy, where he played the treacherous Captain Barbossa, acting alongside Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.
He recently won a "Tony Award" (the American theater's Oscar) for Best Actor, for his role in the Broadway play "Exit the King".
In 2011, he was nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for "The King's Speech" for the second time.
