Kahmora Hall is the stage name of Paul Tran, a standout on the United States drag scene best known for competing on the thirteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Known for a glamorous aesthetic — including wearing an original Bob Mackie gown on the show — she drew critical attention for the intensity of her lip-sync performance against Denali, which commentators in drag culture called memorable. Although she was the first to be eliminated that season, Hall remained active within the Drag Race community: she returned as a guest in the fourteenth season for a special episode bringing together “first-outs” from previous seasons. Her visibility also extended beyond television when, in 2022, she joined other drag performers in a segment of Hocus Pocus 2, portraying a drag version of one of the iconic Sanderson Sisters. A native of Chicago, Tran attended Niles West High School and Loyola University. In interviews, she has discussed experiences of microaggressions and anti-Asian racism encountered in the drag circuit, sparking conversations about diversity and inclusion in entertainment. Tajma Hall is her drag mother and a presence in her artistic life.
