Madeleine L’Engle was an American writer known for novels, children’s and young adult books, essays, and poetry. She became famous with A Wrinkle in Time (1962), a book that launched a multidimensional saga and blends fantasy, mythology, and reflections on science and spirituality. The work received wide critical attention and reached new audiences with the film adaptation produced by Walt Disney Pictures in 2018.
