Martin John C. Freeman, better known as Martin Freeman, is an English actor.
He is best known for his role as Tim Canterbury in the series The Office and his role as Arthur Dent in the film adaptation of the book "O Guia do Mochileiro das Galáxias".
Since 2010 he has also portrayed Dr. John Watson in the BBC series Sherlock.
He also appeared in the film adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's book The Hobbit, in the role of the protagonist Bilbo Baggins.
