Natalia Oreiro is a multifaceted Uruguayan artist, internationally recognized as an actress, singer, songwriter, model and presenter. She rose to global prominence playing Milagros Espósito in Muñeca Brava (1998–99), a role that brought her widespread popularity especially in Central America and Eastern Europe, sparking a phenomenon dubbed “Oreiromania” among fans across several regions.
She moved from telenovelas into film, appearing notably in Un Argentino en New York (1998), Clandestine Childhood (2011) and The German Doctor (2013), projects that helped establish her as a leading actress in historical and dramatic works. She has received nominations and recognition for her performances and contributed to films submitted to international awards.
As a musician, she released three studio albums, sold millions of copies and earned nominations for awards such as the Latin Grammy. At the same time, she has been active in social campaigns and was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Argentina and Uruguay in 2011, in addition to participating in environmental initiatives.
More recently, she has expanded her television presence as a presenter of entertainment formats, building a public career marked by artistic versatility and a strong connection with audiences in Latin America and Europe.
