Sophie Davant is a French journalist and radio and television presenter, known for her long career on public television. Trained in languages and beginning in regional journalism, she moved to national television in 1987 as the weather presenter on France 2, a role she held until 2006 and that established her visibility with a wide audience. Over the decades, Davant has presented and co-produced various entertainment and magazine programs, including C'est au programme, Toute une histoire and, since 2017, Affaire conclue, whose audience success confirmed her as a prominent figure in the daytime schedule. She has also taken part in philanthropic initiatives such as the Téléthon and has been involved in a range of theatrical and television projects, demonstrating versatility beyond presenting.
