Tatiana de Rosnay is a Franco‑British writer and journalist known for novels and biographies translated internationally. Trained in English literature, she began her career as a press officer and literary critic, contributing to magazines such as Elle and Psychologies, and also writing scripts for television. Her best‑known work is Elle s'appelait Sarah (2007), published in Brazil as A Chave de Sarah, which sold millions of copies and was adapted for film in 2009. The novel established her reputation by addressing historical memory and personal trauma, themes she returns to in other books. De Rosnay has published numerous novels in French and English, as well as biographies, including Manderley Forever, about Daphne du Maurier, and Tamara par Tatiana, about Tamara de Lempicka. Her work blends contemporary fiction with historical and family elements, and shows an interest in the implications of technology for writing. Born into a family notable for figures in the arts and sciences, she lives in Paris, where she continues to publish and take part in international literary discussions.
