Violett Beane is an American film and television actress, best known for playing Jesse Chambers Wells (Jesse Quick) on The CW series The Flash. Her career includes notable TV roles such as Taylor Truitt in the second season of The Leftovers and a guest appearance on the medical drama The Resident as Lily, a character involved in a storyline about cancer treatment. In film, Beane has appeared in a range of genres, including the supernatural thriller Truth or Dare (2018), produced by Blumhouse, and independent horror features such as Flay and Slash. She also appears in the documentary Tower, about the 1966 University of Texas shooting, portraying Claire Wilson, one of the victims depicted. Raised and artistically trained in Austin, Texas, Beane began in school theatre and transitioned to television and film work from the mid-2010s onward.
