Felice Chiusano was an Italian singer and drummer, known for his comic presence and for his long career as a member of the Quartetto Cetra. Self-taught on guitar and later on drums, he began working as a musician in Rome and joined radio orchestras after auditioning for EIAR. In 1941 he joined the Quartetto Ritmo, which would become Quartetto Cetra, a central group in Italian light song and entertainment during the postwar years.
Within Quartetto Cetra, alongside Lucia Mannucci, Virgilio Savona and Tata Giacobetti, he became known for his humor and quick retorts, a role that helped shape the group’s theatrical and popular identity. The ensemble produced a large body of songs, sketches and parodies, and made appearances in film and radio, influencing generations of performers and the landscape of light entertainment in Italy.
In the following decades, as the quartet’s activities slowed, Chiusano also turned to organizing shows and cultural events. His career remains tied to the legacy of Quartetto Cetra and to the history of twentieth‑century Italian song.
