Giovanni Ciccia Ridella is a Peruvian actor and theatre director whose career spans film, television, music, and stage direction. He rose to prominence in film playing Orlando Hernández, “Django,” in the trilogy that began with Django: la otra cara (2002), and for memorable roles in films such as Tinta roja and Bolero de noche. On television, he became well known for popular characters, including Diego Montalbán on the series Al fondo hay sitio, and established himself as a presence in telenovelas and entertainment programs.
In the theatre, Ciccia began in classical and contemporary productions and later took on directing duties in plays such as La Chunga, Los 39 escalones and Av. Larco: el musical, maintaining an ongoing career as both director and performer. At the same time, he performed as the vocalist of the band Chabelos, combining his stage work with music.
His work shows a multifaceted role in Peru’s cultural scene, moving between commercial productions and original theatrical projects.
