Jacqueline Courtney, born Sharon Courtney, was an American actress best known for her work in television soap operas. She became a popular daytime-soap figure by portraying Alice Matthews Frame on Another World, a role that defined her career from the show's 1964 debut until 1975, with occasional returns for program anniversaries. On the series, her love triangle with Steve Frame and Rachel Davis became one of the most followed storylines of the era, solidifying her recognition with audiences. Throughout the 1970s she also appeared on One Life to Live, playing Patricia Kendall/Tony Lord and taking part in prominent storylines, including complex plots that involved memorable rivalries.
