Marlon Jackson is an American singer and dancer, best known as a member of the family group The Jackson 5, which reached international success in the late 1960s and early 1970s. As the sixth child of the Jackson family, he contributed mainly with backing vocals and percussion (conga and tambourine) on recordings and in live performances, participating in the rise that brought the group to stardom at Motown and later as The Jacksons on Epic Records.

Beyond his musical career, Jackson worked in business and media: he was active in the real estate market in Southern California and was one of the executives behind the Major Broadcasting Corporation, a religious network that later became the Black Family Channel. These ventures show his involvement offstage in business and community projects.

In recent years he has focused on philanthropic work through the Study Peace Foundation, an organization he founded in 2015 aimed at promoting peace, unity and community programs for children, adults and the elderly. He has also taken part in cultural preservation efforts, including projects for historical recognition in Badagry, Nigeria.

Married since 1975, he is the father of three and continues to appear at public events and family artistic reunions. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Jacksons in 1997.
