Martin Landau was an American actor whose career spanned theater, television, and film over several decades. Trained in the milieu of the Actors Studio, he became known early on for memorable roles in television series, most notably as Rollin Hand on Mission: Impossible and as Commander John Koenig on Space: 1999. His career also included recurring appearances on classic programs such as The Twilight Zone.
