Oliver Rolf Kahn is a former German soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. He is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers in soccer history.
Kahn enjoyed the peak of his career in 2000, being named the best player in the Bundesliga and the best goalkeeper in Europe. He won UEFA Euro 1996 with Germany. He was also runner-up at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. In that World Cup, he achieved a historic feat, becoming the only goalkeeper to have won the tournament's best player award, given by FIFA.
