Mark Sinclair Vincent, better known as Vin Diesel, is an American actor, screenwriter, and film producer.
He was invited to be one of the soldiers commanded by Tom Hanks in the acclaimed Saving Private Ryan (1998).
Seeing Diesel's strong work, the producers of The Fast and the Furious (2001) decided to give Vin Diesel a prominent role in their new production. With his name on the rise, Diesel appeared in the action comedy Knockaround Guys (2001. His next work really put him in Hollywood's elite, as the secret agent Xander Cage in xXx (2002).
