Jude Law is a British actor from Lewisham, London, the son of teachers. He began acting at the National Youth Music Theatre.
He rose to prominence with The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999, Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, BAFTA winner), Cold Mountain (2003, Academy Award nomination for Best Actor), A.I.
