Luke Goss is an English musician and actor, initially known as co‑founder and drummer of the pop duo Bros, which reached enormous popularity in the late 1980s. Together with his twin brother Matt, the group scored several hits in the United Kingdom between 1987 and 1989, triggering the so‑called “Brosmania” and turning them into teen idols of that period. Commercial success declined with the third album, and the duo faced financial difficulties that took a decade to overcome.
After the group split, Luke shifted his career toward acting, appearing regularly in feature films and television productions. He took part in action and fantasy films — including comic‑book titles such as Blade II and Hellboy II — and joined casts for independent and direct‑to‑video releases. He also performed in musicals in the United Kingdom and presented television programs, moving between music and stage performance.
In 2016 the brothers resumed joint activities, and in 2018 their reunion was documented in After the Screaming Stops, which revisits the duo’s career and cultural impact. Luke Goss’s legacy includes both the imprint of an 1980s pop phenomenon and a versatile acting career in commercial cinema and television productions.
