Marie Dorin-Habert is a French biathlete whose international career extended from 2003 to 2018, notable for consistent results in both individual and team competitions. Across her career she won multiple Olympic medals — including gold in the mixed relay and bronzes in team events — and reached the podium at the Vancouver Games (bronze in the sprint, 2010) and at Pyeongchang (golds and a bronze in the relay, 2018). At the World Championships she was particularly successful in 2015 and 2016, with titles in the sprint and pursuit and several victories in team events; she has multiple world medals in total and seven World Cup victories. In Oslo in 2016 she achieved the rare feat of scoring points in all six events on the program, claiming three titles and additional medals. Known for her precision in shooting and her ability to recover on the course, Dorin-Habert was a leading figure in French biathlon for more than a decade. After retiring from competition in the 2017–2018 season, she moved into sports media as a biathlon consultant and commentator, continuing to appear in television coverage of international events.
