Michael Oher is a former professional American football player who played offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. A standout at Ole Miss in college football, he was a unanimous All‑American and won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy in 2008, performances that positioned him as a first‑round pick in the 2009 draft. Selected by the Baltimore Ravens, he spent five seasons with the franchise and was part of the roster that won Super Bowl XLVII. He later played one season for the Tennessee Titans and finished his career with the Carolina Panthers.
