Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player widely regarded as one of the greatest in the sport’s history. He holds notable records: the most weeks at world No. 1, eight seasons finishing atop the rankings, 24 Grand Slam titles, as well as 40 Masters 1000 and 100 ATP singles titles. He is also the only man to complete the Career Grand Slam three times and to achieve the Career Golden Masters twice. His professional career began in 2003 and, from 2010 onward, he formed—alongside Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal—the so‑called "Big Three," which dominated men’s tennis for more than a decade. Significant achievements include holding all four majors simultaneously on different surfaces and seasons of extraordinary dominance, notably 2011 and 2015. He overcame injuries and setbacks, repeatedly returning to the top over the years. Beyond his individual results, he led Serbia to the Davis Cup title (2010) and to the inaugural ATP Cup victory (2020). He served as president of the ATP Player Council and later co‑founded the PTPA to give players a stronger voice. He is also a philanthropist: he founded the Novak Djokovic Foundation, focused on children from vulnerable communities, and serves as an ambassador for humanitarian organizations. On a personal level, his life includes a childhood during the Balkan conflicts, early athletic development, and official recognition in his country through various honors.
