Theodora de Grèce is a member of the former Greek royal family and is also linked to the Danish royal house. Born in London, she is the daughter of King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie. She descends from European dynasties — among her grandparents are King Paul of Greece and King Frederick IX of Denmark — and retains kinship ties with monarchs and members of the royal families of Spain and Denmark.
Educated in the United States with studies at Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, Theodora expanded her training in the arts and pursued postgraduate design studies at Central Saint Martins. Between 2010 and 2012 she worked as an actress in Los Angeles, appearing in television and film productions under the stage name Teodora Greece.
Her personal life drew public attention with her engagement and subsequent marriage to lawyer Matthew Jeremiah Kumar, celebrated in Athens on 28 September 2024. In December 2024 she was recorded among those who acquired Greek citizenship, having adopted the surname De Grèce in the official register.
