Ryan Cochran‑Siegle is an American alpine skier known for his performances in the speed events and for belonging to a family with a long tradition in the sport. Developed in the Nor-Am Cup and junior ranks, he first drew attention by winning two titles at the 2012 Junior World Championships (downhill and combined) and by taking continental super-G and downhill classifications, results that propelled him toward the World Cup elite. On the World Cup circuit, he earned his first podium in 2020 at the Saslong and his first victory on the Stelvio in Bormio, results that established him consistently among the top competitors in the speed events. At World Championships and the Olympics he accumulated notable results, including two Olympic silver medals in the super-G (Beijing 2022 and Milan–Cortina 2026). Known for his specialization in super-G and downhill, Cochran‑Siegle has collected continental titles and international podiums that helped revive the United States’ presence in the speed disciplines.
