César Tralli is a Brazilian journalist and presenter who has worked at TV Globo since 1993. He holds a degree in journalism from Cásper Líbero and a master’s in social sciences from PUC-SP. He served as a correspondent in London from 1995 to 2000, becoming the network’s youngest foreign reporter and producing reports from more than 30 countries.
Over his career he covered major stories — including conflicts in the Middle East, the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, disasters such as Chernobyl and the Turkey earthquake, as well as sporting events and global crises — and conducted investigative reporting into corruption and criminal organizations in Brazil. Those investigations led to arrests and high‑profile inquiries.
As a presenter, he has anchored major newscasts such as SPTV, Jornal Hoje and Jornal GloboNews – Edição das 18h, and was announced in 2025 as the presenter and executive editor of Jornal Nacional. He has received national awards for investigative reporting and was an Emmy finalist for crime coverage, establishing him as an influential voice in Brazilian television journalism.
