Leslie Bibb is an American actress and former model whose career moved between television and film beginning in the mid-1990s. Initially discovered as a model, she transitioned to acting with occasional roles in TV series and films such as Private Parts (1997), establishing herself on television with a recurring part on The Big Easy and, most notably, as Brooke McQueen on the teen series Popular, a role that earned her a Teen Choice Award. In film, Bibb has worked across comedy, thriller and horror, appearing in commercially prominent titles such as The Skulls (1999), Talladega Nights (2006) and the box-office hit Iron Man (2008) — in which she plays reporter Christine Everhart, a role she reprised in Iron Man 2 and other Marvel-related projects. Her work in independent films, including Wristcutters: A Love Story, also attracted critical notice. Throughout her career she has appeared in dramatic series and diverse television and streaming projects, with recurring roles on ER and Crossing Jordan and a part in Jupiter’s Legacy. Her career is characterized by versatility across genres and by appearances in broadly popular franchises.
