Luís Melo is a Brazilian actor.
He worked for many years under the direction of the exacting stage director Antunes Filho, having been the lead in several landmark productions, including Vereda da Salvação, Gilgamesh and the play Trono de Sangue, an adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth, in 1992, considered by many the best interpretation of Macbeth in Brazilian theater.
His remarkable debut in Cara e Coroa also earned him the APCA award.
He acted in numerous miniseries, telenovelas, and films.
