Can Yaman is a Turkish actor and lawyer, known for roles in television series with wide international distribution, such as Dolunay, Erkenci Kuş (A Sonhadora/The Dreamer) and Bay Yanlış (Mr. Wrong/The Wrong Man), the latter two shown in Brazil on Globoplay. His work in romantic comedy earned him significant awards, including the Golden Butterfly in 2018 and the Murex d'Or in 2019, as well as subsequent nominations at international ceremonies. A law graduate of Yeditepe University, he began his career as an attorney in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, at one point running his own firm, before moving definitively into acting. Parallel to his artistic career, Yaman published texts on tax law and worked at PwC. Active in social causes, he founded in 2021 Can Yaman For Children, an organization dedicated to raising funds for vulnerable children and adolescents; in 2024 the organization carried out activities in Brazil. A polyglot and enthusiast of physical fitness, Yaman has also received media recognition, such as GQ Man of the Year in 2019.
