Markie Post (Marjorie Armstrong Post) was an American actress best known for her television work in the 1980s and 1990s. She became known for recurring roles on high‑rating series: bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on The Fall Guy, public defender Christine Sullivan on Night Court — the role that brought her greatest recognition — and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman on Hearts Afire. Over her career she also played Erin Lindsay’s mother on Chicago P.D. and voiced June Darby on Transformers: Prime.

Before acting, she worked behind the scenes on game shows, a role that later led to celebrity guest appearances on those programs. On film she appeared in titles such as There’s Something About Mary (1998) and had a variety of parts in television movies and both dramatic and comedic series.

Born and raised in California, she earned a degree in the arts and built a career noted for its versatility between comedy and drama. Her public legacy is that of a recognizable television figure whose characters became part of American pop culture; she died in 2021 at age 70 from cancer.
